The NFL has decided not to suspend Detroit Lions

The NFL has decided not to suspend Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for his actions against Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub but will review the incident for a potential fine.
Suh's left cleat connected with Schaub's groin area after Schaub threw a pass in the first quarter Thursday. The defensive tackle was on his chest after being taken down by an offensive lineman and extended his left foot to hit Schaub below the belt.
Saints' Brodrick Bunkley won't be suspended.NRL Snapback Hats
A person familiar with the decision says the NFL will not suspend New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley for kicking San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Alex Boone on the back of the helmet.
The person spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the league has not announced any punishment and a fine is still possible.
Bunkley was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected.
Two Seahawks players could be suspended
Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll said he expects starting cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner to be able to play Sunday at Chicago despite the possibility they could receive four-game suspensions for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.Supreme Snapback Hats
Carroll said that "as of right now I'm planning on those guys playing." ESPN.com first reported Sunday afternoon, after the Seahawks' 24-21 loss at Miami, that Browner and Sherman are facing suspensions and are in the process of appealing.
The team said Sunday night that it was aware of the report. According to the league's collective bargaining agreement, players can play until an appeal is heard and settled.
Buccaneers' Eric Wright is disciplined
Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Eric Wright was suspended by the NFL for four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Wright is the second Tampa Bay starter disciplined for using Adderall. Cornerback Aqib Talib was suspended Oct. 13 for four games and traded to the New England Patriots while serving the ban.Crooks And Castles Snapback
Browns' Brandon Weeden suffers concussion
The Cleveland Browns won't know for a few more days whether rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden will play in Oakland.
Weeden suffered a concussion Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was falling after an incompletion when his head struck the leg of teammate Joe Thomas.
Weeden left the field and received medical attention on the sideline before being taken to the locker room.
Coach Pat Shurmur said Weeden is being treated under the NFL's "strict concussion protocol" and his status for Sunday's game remains uncertain.
49ers' Kyle Williams has torn knee ligament
San Francisco receiver and return man Kyle Williams said he will sit out the rest of the season after suffering a torn ligament in his left knee Sunday.
